State Park, Peanut Butter and Jelly

This past Tuesday on one of the rare days my husband is off from work we decided that we wanted to go to the State Park for a mini hike.
This was our first mini hike and after about an hour or so whilst descending down a pretty steep part of the mountain my dh asked "are any ones legs starting to feel like jelly?", to that my 3.5 year old ds promptly replied in a very serious tone "No, my legs don't feel like jelly daddy, my legs feel like peanut butter". Needless to say we all had a good laugh.
After taking a rest we continued on our walk and enjoyed the beautiful autumn scenery of the NC Uwharrie Mountains.
